Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. The couple resides in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, medication administration, driving to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. After an initial nine-on/three-off schedule, the role transitions to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; compensation per person is $44,768 with total couple compensation around $168,000, plus comprehensive benefits and housing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples; both must submit individual applications
