Job Summary
PA Specialist role for married couples serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on a university-style campus. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students per home, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off schedules to a stable placed-houseparent arrangement. Requires two-person, legally married couples (both spouses 27+), on-campus housing, off-site training and relocation benefits, and a strong commitment to student development within a Judeo-Christian campus setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married and both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to supervise and mentor youth, administer medications as needed, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Chapel services
- Comfort with Judeo-Christian practices and exclusions (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to safety and a smoke-free, weapon-free campus
