Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents: a two-person, married-couple role living on campus to care for a group of 8–13 students, providing supervision, guidance, and support. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from initial nine-on/three-off duty to a Placed Houseparent in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person with comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, relocation assistance, paid training, and time off; housing and meals are included while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
