Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on-campus in student homes and supervising a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, medication administration, transportation of students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, daily devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting, and eventual placement into a fixed houseparent assignment with the same student group. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
Additional Requirements

- Must be able to relocate to assigned on-campus homes
- Must be able to obtain required certifications for student transportation
