Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus to supervise 8–13 students in on-campus homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support. Responsibilities include daily supervision/mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/developing development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a shared houseparent role living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person (~$44,768) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, two-person role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited in routines
- Ability to live and work with students in on-campus homes
