Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/developing activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed Houseparent role with a consistent student group. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, lifting up to 50 lbs, adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and both spouses completing individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
