Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents needed for Milton Hershey School. A two-person married couple resides in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental and religious activities. After an initial nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, couples transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, budgeting, reporting, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services (Proselytizing prohibited)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
