Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship and care, manage routines, route student transportation, administer medications, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off cycle and can transition to a Placed Houseparent with continued living/working in a single student home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, along with comprehensive benefits. Candidates must be a legally married couple, both spouses age 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to drive student vans is required. Both spouses must complete individual applications to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for legally married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
