Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel sessions, manage household routines and budgeting, and transition from a shared nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed houseparent role. Roles require on-site presence, caregiving with a focus on student well-being, strong mentorship, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, and willingness to relocate with the school’s relocation assistance. A high school diploma or GED is required, and both spouses must apply individually for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
