Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School located in Hershey, PA. Partners reside in on-campus student homes to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students, including administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and coordinating budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with an eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Willingness to be legally married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
