Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents on-campus at Milton Hershey School, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of roughly 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent arrangement living with the same student group. Requires working as a two-person team, legally married for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older, and a valid driver’s license with ability to drive student vans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
