Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes with 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and supervision of routines. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and campus chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially, the schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include a salary per person, comprehensive insurance, relocation assistance, paid time off, and full housing/meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
