Job Summary
PA Specialist role for Full-time Flex Houseparents responsible for residential care of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Couples reside in student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, and transport for activities. Responsibilities include budgeting, coordinating routines and schedules, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, planning recreational and developmental activities, and progressing toward a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a fixed home placement. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; compensation is $44,768 per person annually (approx. $168,000 per couple including housing and benefits).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to commit to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus environment
- Demonstrated suitability for working with youth
