Job Summary
Two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Provide daily supervision and mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, and plan/participate in developmental and recreational activities with students. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Start with a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transition into a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students in their home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
