Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA (with relocation assistance). Responsible for supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role over time. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Applicants must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and both must complete individual applications. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid time off, and on-campus housing and meals as part of total compensation. Relocation assistance provided. Location(s): on-campus Hershey, PA (primary) and Bowie, MD (additional documented location).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Two-person, married-couple employment
- Must complete individual employment applications per consideration
