Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from initial nine-on/three-off scheduling to a placed houseparent arrangement with the same student group. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a married couple physically living together for at least two years, with both spouses age 27+, no more than three dependent children, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; relocation assistance and paid training provided.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to reside and work in on-campus homes
- Ability to relocate to Hershey, PA (on-campus)
- Excellent integrity and professionalism
