Job Summary
PA Specialist role for married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents located on the Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision/mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially work a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple homes, with potential transition to a placed Houseparent in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person of $44,768 (total compensation per couple around $168,000), comprehensive insurance, retirement savings, relocation assistance and paid training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage (for both spouses)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
