Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents on the Milton Hershey School campus. They reside in on-site student homes, provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, and plan/develop development and recreational activities. Responsibilities include leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and initially following a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. The position includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits, with on-campus housing and meals while on duty as part of total compensation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
