Job Summary
Two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on-campus at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include providing daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group in their own home. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and on-campus housing/meals. Requires experience with youth, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs., and adherence to campus guidelines; both spouses must apply independently to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Two-year minimum marriage tenure for both spouses
- Two-person married couple role
- Age 27 or older for both spouses

- Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- No alcohol permitted on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
