Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside on campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for approximately 813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a future transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person around $44,768 (total per couple ~ $168,000 with housing/benefits), relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. drivers license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel participation
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
