Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples living in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and support students’ academic, emotional, and social development; initial nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule with eventual placement in a fixed student home, accompanied by comprehensive benefits and relocation training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
