Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) reside on campus in student homes, providing care, supervision, and mentorship to 8–13 students, including daily routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role progresses from nine days on/three days off to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students; includes budgeting, household reporting, and transitioning to a resident home location. Requires youth-work experience, a valid U.S. driver’s license with van certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to live on-campus in housing with students
Additional Requirements
- Must be married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
