Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor 8–13 students in an on-campus home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent with the same group of students. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, experience working with youth, and a legally married status for at least two years with both spouses aged 27 or older. Both spouses must complete individual applications. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided. This on-campus, full-time role involves a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule initially, with potential placement in a dedicated student home.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-year marriage minimum for both spouses
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Relocation assistance provided and paid training
