Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person couples) live in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and support multiple homes before transitioning to a Fixed Houseparent in the same student home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, willingness to obtain van-driving certification, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; applicants must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading devotions and Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
