Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus in student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students. A two-person, married team provides daily supervision, household routines, medication administration, and transportation to activities, while planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group. Benefits include salary per person with relocation assistance and comprehensive health benefits; comprehensive training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required
- Must complete individual employment applications for both spouses
