Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles on Milton Hershey School campus: married couples live in on-site student homes (8–13 students) and provide supervision, mentorship, and activities, including transportation of students, medication administration, and daily devotions/chapel attendance. Responsibilities cover daily routines, budgeting and reporting, planning developmental and recreational activities, and transitioning from a flex to placed houseparent. Requires caring for youth in a structured, family-like environment, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and completion of individual applications by both spouses. On-site housing, meals, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance are included; the position is based in Hershey, PA or Cary, NC.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
