Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents on the Milton Hershey School campus provide care, supervision, and guidance to a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision, administering medications, managing household routines and student schedules, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, daily devotions, and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, as well as overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel services (Judeo-Christian)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty

- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications

- Age 27 or older for both spouses
