Job Summary
Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under physician supervision. Obtain patient history, perform assessments, and order, execute, and interpret diagnostic procedures. Manage health conditions through direct treatment and documentation while counseling patients and families on preventative health, treatment options, and community resources. Conduct preventative assessments, screenings, immunizations, and care. Requires Tennessee PA licensure, BLS certification, and one year of preferred experience. Full-time night shift at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the Tennessee Committee on Physicians Assistants
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- 1 year of experience
