Job Summary
Implement the Physician Assistant curriculum using effective teaching strategies and information technologies while evaluating student achievement against curricular objectives. Maintain accurate records of student performance and submit documentation by established deadlines, providing availability to answer questions regarding course material and expectations. Manage time effectively for course preparation and engage in critical self-reflection regarding personal performance to uphold institutional values and promote a healthy, student-centered learning environment. Submit all required licenses, certifications, and annual competencies as mandated by the Associate Handbook.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Degree is congruent with program or specialty that you teach
- Three years of clinical experience in the appropriate field
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Has situational awareness to respond promptly and adapt to change as needed
- Maintains all licenses, certifications, and annual competencies as required for role
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate (Master's) or Post-Graduate Degree (doctorate)
- Terminal research or practice degree in needed specialty (i.e. PhD, DNP, PharmD, EdD)
- Two years of teaching experience
- Professional certification
