Job Summary
Conduct teaching within the Physician Assistant curriculum using effective strategies and innovative information technologies. Evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives and maintain accurate records of student achievement, submitting documentation by established deadlines. Provide availability to students to answer questions regarding course material and expectations while communicating effectively with course and program leadership. Engage in critical self-reflection regarding personal performance and maintain all licenses, certifications, and annual competencies as required for the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Degree is congruent with program or specialty that you teach
- Three years of clinical experience in the appropriate field
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Has situational awareness to respond promptly and adapt to change as needed
- Maintains all licenses, certifications, and annual competencies as required for role
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate (Master's) or Post-Graduate Degree (doctorate)
- Terminal research or practice degree in needed specialty (i.e. PhD, DNP, PharmD, EdD)
- Two years of teaching experience
- Professional certification
