Job Summary
Provide urgent care evaluation and treatment, perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and other urgent care services; order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests including labs and imaging; provide patient and family education on treatment plans and follow-up care; collaborate with urgent care physicians and support staff to ensure efficient, team-based care; document all encounters accurately and timely in the EMR.
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant
- National certification (NCCPA)
- Previous urgent care experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
