Job Summary
Q.E.D. SYSTEMS, INC. seeks Engineering Technicians for shipboard testing in support of marine engineering projects. Candidates must troubleshoot control systems, and possess electrical technician experience, with a minimum of a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of H.S Diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an electrical technician
- Experience tracing signals and diagnosing or isolating cause for electrical failures
- Experience with grounded and ungrounded systems
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced computer skills to include use of HyperTerminal, Putty, or an equivalent serial interface
- Ability to use an oscilloscope and signal generator
- US Navy shipboard experience in engineering department

- Security clearance required
