Job Summary
Lead Advanced Practice Provider (PA or CRNP) supervising inpatient care for General Surgery at UPMC Grandview Surgical Associates. Responsibilities include daily rounding, managing acutely ill patients, assisting in the OR, care coordination, APP onboarding/training, credentialing/licensure compliance, and ensuring workflow quality. Robotic surgery training is required; travel between hospital sites is expected based on operational needs. Strong surgical/inpatient experience and experience with resident teams are desired; prior leadership/preceptor experience preferred. Qualifications include PA or CRNP licensure in PA, CPR certification, and board certification requirements; BSN/MSN preferred for CRNP. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with physicians and care teams, and advancing patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- CRNP certification required
- BSN or MSN preferred for CRNP
- Current CPR certification
- Act 33 Clearance
- Act 73 Clearance
- Act 34 Clearance
- Physician Assistant license current (NCCPA)
- BS or MS preferred for PA
