Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (PA or CRNP) for Urology at UPMC Bethel Park. The role is a full-time, 100% outpatient position involving patient care activities for a group of patients and families, collaboration with physicians and the care team, and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities emphasize independent judgment, communication, and coordination to achieve desired patient outcomes, leadership and collaboration within the health system, and commitment to community health. The successful candidate will be placed based on years of experience and will contribute to teaching, quality improvement, and adherence to professional standards within the Urology department. Location is Bethel Park, PA, with four 10-hour shifts; focus on outpatient care within the UPMC Urology department.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license and CRNP certification are required
- BSN, MSN is preferred
- Current CPR certification is required
- Act 34 Clearance required
- Physician Assistant (PA): BS or MS candidate is preferred; NCCPA certification required; Current PA license
- The successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program is required for CRNP pathway; CRNP certification required
