Job Summary
PA or CRNP, Staff or Senior, GLPP Heart and Vascular at UPMC in Jamestown, NY. Full-time APP role involved in hospital inpatient cardiology coverage, seeing consults and performing rounding, with responsibilities to establish collaborative relationships with physicians and health care team, provide patient care activities for a group of patients and families, demonstrate independent judgment, and contribute to patient outcomes. Role includes daytime Monday–Friday hours (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with weekly daytime rotations in the hospital and travel to GLPP Cardiology locations as needed. Includes potential sign-on bonus and benefits; requires licensure and certification as an RN/CRNP (or PA) with applicable state credentials, and ongoing professional development and adherence to hospital standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- CRNP certification or eligibility
- Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program (BSN/MSN preferred for CRNP)
- Licensure/credentialing requirements for PA or CRNP in Pennsylvania/US-PA as applicable
- Ability to provide patient care in hospital cardiology setting
- American Heart Association CPR certification
- Act 33/Act 34/Act 73 clearances as required by employer
