Job Summary
Staff/Senior Advanced Practice Provider (PA or CRNP) role supporting UPMC Alexander Springs Family Care in Carlisle, PA. Responsibilities include providing patient care activities for a group of patients and families through independent judgment, collaborating with physicians and other team members, establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships, and contributing to continuous improvement in clinical practice. The APP will apply professional knowledge, demonstrate critical thinking, lead with initiative, and participate in clinical development, education, and community-oriented care. The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and ongoing professional contribution within a large network of primary care providers; it includes responsibilities for maintaining care standards, supporting patient outcomes, and adapting to evolving practice requirements. Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited PA program or CRNP program
- Current state RN license and PA license (or CRNP certification)
- CRNP certification preferred/required depending on path
- NCCPA certification for PA track
- Current CPR certification
- Act 33, Act 73, Act 34 clearances may be required
- BSN/MSN preferred for CRNP path (BSN/MSN preferred)
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges if applicable
- Licensure as CRNP or PA in Pennsylvania
