Job Summary
Floater Advanced Practice Provider (PA or CRNP/ACNP) to support the Center for Community Hospitalist Medicine across UPMC hospitals. Primary responsibilities include rounding and patient care for a group of patients and their families with independent judgment and collaboration with the care team. Role involves hospitalist workflow across nine sites, 12-hour shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule, and placement according to years of experience. Requires current RN license and CRNP certification; BSN/MSN preferred; ACLS within 30 days of hire; Act 34 clearance; CPR as applicable; licensure requirements per PA pathway. Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license and CRNP certification are required
- BSN, MSN is preferred
- ACNP Certification Preferred
- ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Act 34 Clearance required
- CPR certification required for PA route
- Current state PA license certified by NCCPA for PA route or CRNP licensure in PA
- Board certification or eligibility in CRNP/PA pathway as applicable
