Job Summary
The Staff Advanced Practice Provider (APP) role supports Metropolitan ENT with rounding at three hospital sites and coverage across outpatient and inpatient settings, including operating room assistance and direct patient communication. The APP, a Physician Assistant or Acute Care CRNP, provides independent judgment and collaborates with physicians and the care team to maintain patient outcomes, safety, and quality. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, establishing relationships with patients and families, and participating in ongoing clinical development and education, with opportunities for leadership, supervision, and program development. Requires an APP with licensure/certification in PA or CRNP, completion of an approved NP/PA program, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital/clinical ENT environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- BSN/MSN preferred
- Current state RN license and CRNP certification OR NCCPA certification for PA
- Current CPR certification
- Act 34 Clearance required
- Licensure and certification as applicable in PA
- Approved nurse practitioner program completion
- Experience preferred in clinical settings
