PA or ACNP, Staff or Senior - Critical Care Medicine, Central PA

Full-Time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to support the Critical Care Medicine team at UPMC Central PA in Harrisburg, PA. The Staff or Senior APP provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families, operates with independence and collaboration with physicians, engages in leadership development, and participates in ongoing professional development. Responsibilities include applying professional practice standards, forming care plans, communicating effectively with the health care team, maintaining patient safety and quality, and supporting education for patients and families. The role requires bedside procedures experience (central and arterial lines) and compliance with licensure, certification, and state clearances; successful candidates will be placed according to years of experience and must obtain hospital privileges where applicable.
