Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider role in inpatient podiatry at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. Primary focus on inpatient podiatry care including limb salvage, wound care, and diabetic foot care with daily inpatient rounding and post-surgical follow-up. Collaborates closely with two inpatient podiatrists, vascular surgery, and the wound clinic to support coordinated, patient-centered care. Opportunities to assist in surgery as caseload and surgeon needs arise.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner: Required Master's Degree
- Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
- 3 years of relevant experience
- current, relevant clinical experience
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner
- LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
- Physician Assistant: Required Master’s Degree
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
- LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
- CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Preferred Qualifications: 2 Years PA/NP experience
- Operative experience preferred
- RNFA preferred
