Job Summary
Full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner sought to join Corewell Health's Hematology program in Grand Rapids, MI. Outpatient hematology with cross-coverage to the inpatient floor at Butterworth Hospital, site includes Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion. Join multispecialty team and participate in tumor boards; strong emphasis on team-based care and ongoing learning. On-call responsibilities with potential weekend/holiday work. Prior Hematology/Oncology AP provider experience preferred; new graduates with oncology interest considered. Typical schedule: five 8-hour shifts/week or four 10-hour shifts/week. On-site at Grand Rapids campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree (NP program accredited by CCNE or NLNAC)
- 3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Current license: LIC-Nurse Practitioner - STATE_MI (Michigan) Upon Hire
- Current license: LIC-Physician Assistant - STATE_MI (Michigan) Upon Hire
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC 90 Days
- CRT-Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA Upon Hire
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA 120 Days
- CRT-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA 120 Days
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
- Experience in Hematology/Oncology or oncology interestPreferred
- Licensure as RN in MI (if necessary)
- Experience in collaborative role
- Oncology clinical experience preferred
