Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill, ICU-level cardiac surgery patients by conducting comprehensive assessments, implementing evidence-based treatment plans, and evaluating patient responses. Perform invasive procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement, chest tube removal, and pacer wire removal. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including ICU intensivists, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiology, and pulmonology for multidisciplinary rounds. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning. This full-time role involves a 50/50 day/off shift schedule with options for nights or weekends, including holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Certification from an Accredited Program
