Job Summary
Lead the Maintenance Department by supervising, training, and motivating personnel while prioritizing equipment repairs to minimize downtime. Own and manage the preventative maintenance program for the Hazle Township facility, including the Ammonia Refrigeration Plant that supports cold storage and production areas. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and systems across refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and warehousing to ensure safe, reliable operations. Establish safety policies, coordinate activities with production to reduce disruptions, and maintain accurate records for scheduled inspections and repairs. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and facility performance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial, manufacturing, food processing, or facility maintenance experience, including supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and facility systems
- High school diploma/GED required
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration and preventative maintenance programs preferred
- technical training or trade certification preferred
