Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents: married couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, medications administration, and lead activities including devotions and Sunday Chapel for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising schedules, budgeting, transporting students, and transitioning from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents. Requires two-person, married-couple placement, HS diploma or GED, driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to obtain van-certification. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, health/dental/vision insurance, retirement options, paid time off, housing and meals on duty, and training. Applicants must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must apply separately.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Couples married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
