Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship and care, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting; initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home, and placement in on-campus housing and meals as part of total compensation; relocation assistance and paid training provided; requires both spouses to apply individually and meet age and marital duration requirements; high school diploma or GED required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pets limited to fish and one dog of approved breeds
