Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving and planning developmental activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off duty to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and able to lift 50 lbs. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided. Requires completion of individual applications by both spouses and on-campus living commitments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to reside on campus
- Two-person married couple minimum
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
