Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. The couple resides in on-campus student homes and provides care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off scheduling to a placed houseparent arrangement. The role emphasizes a structured, family-like environment and requires both spouses to complete individual employment applications for consideration. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
