Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person team) live on campus at Milton Hershey School to care for a group of 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and medications, coordinating transportation and activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed Houseparent assignment with a consistent student home.
