Job Summary
Two-person on-campus houseparent team responsible for supervising and guiding 8–13 students in on-campus homes, including supervision, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting, and household reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off and may transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a legally married couple (both spouses age 27+; two years married) who will complete individual applications; relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person, married-couple requirement for the role
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children residing in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
