Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of roughly 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student-home setting. Includes on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits plus relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Two years of marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
